At Bombay Batik, every product is carefully handcrafted and undergoes a rigorous quality check before dispatch. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are committed to making it right.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.

  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.

  • Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and the integrity of our handcrafted textiles, the following cannot be returned:

  • Products that have been used, washed, or altered.

  • Customized or made-to-order products.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start a return, please contact our support team:

Please include: Your Order Number, the reason for the return, and clear images of the product.

4. Return Shipping & Labels

  • For Damaged or Incorrect Products: If you receive a defective or wrong item, please notify us within 7 days. We will email you a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

  • For Customer Remorse (Other Reasons): If you wish to return a product for any other reason, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

5. Fees & Charges

  • Restocking Fee: Rs. 0.00 (We do not charge a restocking fee).

  • Return Shipping: No cost for damaged/defective items; actual shipping cost for all other returns.

6. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 2 business days of arrival), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.

  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued automatically to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the transaction to your account.

7. Important Note on Handcrafted Variations

Since our products are created using traditional Batik and hand-block techniques, slight variations in color, print, and texture are natural characteristics of the craft. These are not considered defects but are proof of the artisanal "slow fashion" process.
