Batik Art - Wax-resist textile art

Draw on fabric with melted wax, then dip it in dye. The wax keeps the colour out, so whatever you’ve drawn stays clean while the rest of the cloth soaks it up. Build the design up in layers and watch it appear.

Tie & Dye - Fold it, tie it, see what happens

Fold the fabric, bind it tight, and dye it. Every fold and knot gives a different pattern, and half the fun is not knowing exactly what you’ve made until you unwrap it.

Block Printing - Carved by hand, printed by hand

Press a carved block into colour and stamp it onto cloth. Repeat it, turn it, line it up in rows, and one small motif becomes a full pattern. It’s slow, hands-on work with a long tradition behind it.

Screen Printing - One design, printed cleanly

Your design sits on a mesh screen. Pull ink across it with a squeegee and the image transfers onto the fabric, crisp and repeatable. It’s the most precise of the four, and a good fit for anyone who likes things neat.
